Beau Knows How to Swim!

Beau's Tricks

After two of weeks of training, Beau has finally able to master the 'playing dead' trick. Today, he also learned how to roll over! The roll over trick was easy for him. He was able to get it in two days! You will find the videos at www.youtube.com/user/ourbeau.

Obedient Beau...

In the last few weeks, Beau has learned to obey a few commands such as 'Sit', and 'Stay'. He also learned how to dance! Mommy made the song, 'Up and Dance' for Beau's special dance! It is really fun to see him dance. Mommy dances with him too, of course!

This evening, our sweet little Beau also learned how to obey when told to 'Lay Down'. He is a fast learner. We just started this evening, and it was a success!

Beau's First Birthday!

Well, the groomer was supposed to come by on Beau's birthday, however he called and postponed it in two days. Then on the scheduled day, the groomer did not allow us to get in nor to take pictures inside their van. So, no grooming pics for Beau. Anyway, he came out well-groomed and even cuter! The groomer also expressed his appreciation on Beau's behavior while he was getting groomed.

Beau will be Turning One!

Tomorrow is Beau's birthday!! Our plan is to have a groomer come by tomorrow to give our lovable Beau some spa services. Will post pictures soon!

Short Rides

Having Beau is so much fun! He goes with us for short rides within the city. He just loves poking his head out of the truck window to feel the wind as we drive around. We love taking him wherever we would go too. However, there are places that don't allow pets, so Beau stays at home while we go to places like grocery stores, church, and malls.

At Night...

Since Beau's first couple of weeks in his new home, he has proven to us that he is a very good dog and that he can be trusted when it comes to our plants that are placed on the floor. He understands that those things are 'No-no' for him. Likewise, at daytime, he also proves to us that he is a house-trained dog! Most of the time, he goes to the corner where we put a house-training pad and he goes potty there. There are times, however, when he pees on the rug. So, during night time, we keep him in his crate as we go to bed. We are doing this to make sure that he would not leave a surprise on the rug in the morning. Beau, of course , hates being in the crate. Although he does not really scream hard to let us get him out of there, he still expresses his dislike of being in the crate, of course, by barking at night. It is his way of saying, 'Hello?! Is anyone awake to let me out of here?' It is usually around midnight, or sometimes at 4:00 in the morning. Sometimes, one of us would just go out of the bedroom and tell him to be quiet, and he listens most of the time too. For those times, when he would not listen, we would know that he badly needed to go potty, so we take him outside for him to take care of his business. This however, has become a routine. He continues barking in the middle of the night, and we sort of got tired of getting up and telling him to keep quite. So, last night was Beau's first time to sleep with us on our bed! Oh, he loved it so much! He was so content. Well, it gave us a quiet night, and we all slept well! Yeah, he is getting spoiled now, but we still love him and consider him as the cutest member of our family!
